Charles is a fifth-generation Californian that grew up in the South Bay. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History. He then attended Santa Clara University School of Law, attaining certificates in Criminal Justice and Tech Law.
During law school, Charles worked as a certified law student for the Santa Clara Public Defender. There he contributed over 1000 hours of legal services to the community before he even graduated, earning an award for public service from the university. While working with the Public Defender, Charles honed his legal research and writing, assisted with dozens of felony cases, and ultimately sat second chair on a felony life trial before his graduation.
Mr. Duggan is passionate about criminal defense.
